Floaters in Eyes
The eyes have a liquid that keeps the proper mobility of the eye lid, and keeps the eye from getting wet. This liquid that is present in the eyes is also known as the vitreous humor. The vitreous humor present in the eyes has a number of functionalities to help the proper working of eye. The dirt and the small particles that float in the eyes are known as the floaters in eyes. Another term that is associated with floaters in eyes is known as the seeing spot in eyes. These particles float in the eyes and are removed by the body’s mechanism, by the vitreous humor present in the eyes.
When there are floaters in the eyes, you may see the objects you are looking out at, as hazy. You may also find a white cloud floating in from of the object, you are looking out. Actually it is the image of the floaters that is cast on the retina. When the floater comes in from of the iris, an image is cast on the retina that gives us a cloudy image in front of us. You can get rid of this cloudy image by rinsing the eyes with water.
